Partnering with Parents

Wednesdays at Nassau

On Wednesdays, September to May, children enjoy choirs and activities while parents have an opportunity for Bible study.

There is childcare for the youngest ones, choirs for children grades 1-5, and also homework and hangout time for the older children. Families stay for dinner as they can.

Grades 1 and 2 go to Carol Choir from 4:15-5:00 PM in the Music Room.

Grades 3 to 5 go to Homework Hangout in Room 303. Kids bring homework or reading material for 30 minutes of quiet study time, and games and fun follow in the next 45 minutes. Then they are guided to Choir 3·4·5 from 5:15 to 6:00 PM in the Music Room.

Parents and caregivers enjoy the In-Choir Bible Study from 4:15-5:00 PM in the Conference Room. Led by educator and author Carol A. Wehrheim, parents and caregivers study the biblical passage children will explore in Church School the coming Sunday.

All families stay for the Choir Family Co-op Dinner as you can from 5:30-6:30 PM in the Assembly Room.
