Fall 2020
The stewardship and safety of children and families during this pandemic is a primary concern. But ministry continues in these days of distanced learning and limited outdoor gatherings. For the most recent updates and offerings, please email me or the church office.

Wednesdays at Nassau

On Wednesdays, September to April, children enjoy choirs and activities while parents have an opportunity for Bible study.

There is childcare for the youngest ones, choirs for children pre-K to grade 5, and also homework and hangout time for the older children. Families stay for dinner as they can.

Children under three are in childcare from 4:00-5:30 PM in Room 09.

Pre-k and kindergarten go to Joyful Noise Choir from 4:15-5:00 PM in Niles Chapel.

Grades 1 and 2 go to Carol Choir from 4:15-5:00 PM in the Music Room.

Grades 3 to 5 go to Homework Hangout in Room 303. Kids bring homework or reading material for 30 minutes of quiet study time, and games and fun follow in the next 45 minutes. Then they are guided to Choir 3·4·5 from 5:15 to 6:00 PM in the Music Room.

Parents and caregivers enjoy the In-Choir Bible Study from 4:15-5:00 PM in the Conference Room. Led by educator and author Carol A. Wehrheim, parents and caregivers study the biblical passage children will explore in Church School the coming Sunday.

All families stay for the Choir Family Co-op Dinner as you can from 5:30-6:30 PM in the Assembly Room.


Walk Talk Pray/Stretch Center Pray

Fitness, fellowship, and faith for parents in one weekly session! This group meets Thursdays (September to June), 9:00 – 10:15 AM. During early fall and late spring, the group enjoys outdoor walks. In the colder months, the groups moves indoors to practice yoga on in a lovely, light-filled space. Come join us! Newcomers enthusiastically welcomed.
