Men’s Breakfast Bible Study
An open invitation is extended to all men at Nassau Church. They meet every Friday morning from 7:30 to 8:30AM in the Assembly Room from September to May and take turns bringing juice, cereal, and pastries. Participants help lead the discussion, which is often on the upcoming sermon title and scripture texts.
Early Bird Women’s Bible Study
Read and study the Bible and books about the Bible. This group meets on Friday mornings at 7:00 AM throughout the year in members’ homes for a light breakfast. By 8:00 AM all are on their way to work or home.
Parents’ Bible Study
While young children’s choir programs are in session, parents gather on Wednesday evenings to study the biblical passage their children will learn in Church School the coming Sunday. For details, see the Partnering with Parents page.
Book Groups
Nassau Book Group
The Nassau Book Group is a friendly small group which has been meeting at church for over 10 years. We are both men and women. While we rarely choose a theological book to discuss, we do seem to find religious or spiritual themes in over half of our novels or non-fiction books.
We meet eight or nine months a year, omitting December and some of the summer months. We usually meet the third Sunday of the month, after second service, and share a home sack lunch together. Consider joining us, or just show up to see how we interact! We would welcome a few more literature-loving souls.
